With better self-awareness, you can decide on your problem areas and find solutions so that your reactions are appropriate; you can improve yourself and try to be a happier, confident, and successful person. Emotional well-being also plays an important part in physical health - if you bottle up your emotions, you may suffer from various health issues, including stress, which lead to a host of problems whether weight issues, relationship problems or work related area.

The List of Emotions – Toward Wholeness

Positive emotions have a beneficial effect on your physical, psychological and spiritual health while negative emotions have an opposite effect. If you can better deal with your emotions, you can become happier and more positive and this leads to a feeling of completion, wholeness, and well-being. Controlling negative emotions and not letting them get the better of you makes you a stronger person.

When you enjoy more positive emotions, you attract greater postivity in your own life and this actually translates into a host of benefits in all areas of your life, material, physical and spiritual.

On the other hand, if you find yourself at the mercy of negative emotions you can feel emotionally shattered and this can even lead to physical problems even a nervous breakdown - and the shattering of confidence can take a long time to overcome. Anger, greed, envy, fear, loathing, depression, shame and other negative emotions always wear you down and prevent you from reaching your full potential.

If you want to become a stronger person you can write down all the emotions you feel, know why you feel them and get to the root cause of the problem. If you can control and overcome your emotions where required or feel them more fully (in the case of positive emotions) you can lead a better life and be happier and fulfilled.
